Pisces Full Moon Eclipse 2007
Pisces Full Moon Eclipse
August 28, 2007
August 28, 2007
The week of August 27th to September 2nd is quite a week.
Two big events end August and begin September. There is a lunar
eclipse in spiritual, dreamy Pisces on August 28 and Mr. Reality,
Saturn, finally leaves Leo, where He put our egos in their proper
place – at the service of SELF – and now He enters health-conscious
Virgo on September 2.

August 28: Lunar eclipse in Pisces
You can see this total eclipse tonight - so set your alarms and get up to experience it!
Eclipses are portals, doorways of change. Full Moons crack open our
emotional life, and when the full Moon is also a lunar eclipse, our
emotions are pulled up from the deepest levels of our being! Since
this lunar eclipse is in Pisces, the most sensitive sign of the
zodiac, we will be dealing with lots of collective emotions that have
been repressed and denied. So first, don't overreact to anything;
dramatic events are a part of eclipse times, and this one won't be any
different. With the Virgo Sun opposite the Pisces Moon, expect to hear
about lots of situations having to do with health issues, whether it's
people, animals or the planet.
Eclipses bring our awareness to the emotional needs we need to listen
to. Do you want to spend time with the people you love? Do you want
to find someone you can love? Do you want to get in touch with your
senses? What do you need? What will fill you down to your toes! Now
is the time to find out and do it. It is also time to get a plan
together to make the changes that will make you healthier, happier and
more emotionally content. Take time alone for yourself and slow down!
Connect with your spiritual self; watch a sunset, meditate or listen
to a beautiful piece of music. Listen! How is your spirit asking you
to give service to the world? That is Virgo's purpose, to integrate
all your talents and bring them into service in the world. The Pisces
Moon channels the spiritual imagination to that purpose
You might want to check out the March Newsletter
http://www.wisdom-of-astrology.com/virgolunareclipse2007 which talked about the lunar eclipse in Virgo Pisces. Also, the last time there
was a lunar eclipse at this same degree was on August 227, 1988. What
was important in your life back then? Is something different calling
to you now?
The keywords for this eclipse are focus and faith. Virgo represents
the function of sorting the wheat from the chaff, the discrimination
needed to know what is essential from what is no longer useful.
Pisces symbolizes the interconnection of spirit and matter, body and
soul. You need to trust yourself and let go of what you really have
finished with. Let go of the past – it's what we learned our lessons
on. Take those lessons into the future without the woundedness that
we cling to. Our families did not set out to destroy us. Our souls
set up lessons we needed to learn to grow spiritually. Now is the
time to jettison the past to get us to the future.
Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, opposes Uranus during the eclipse. Time
to think outside the Box! Mars is in Gemini and Jupiter in
Sagittarius, so these four planets form what's called a Grand Cross.
We are being asked to be whole brain thinkers – bringing our
analytical, left brain skills in service to our intuitive-feeling
right brain skills. We have to find a way to bring together faith and
logic.
The Sun is at 5 degrees Virgo: A man becomes aware of nature spirits and normally unseen spiritual agencies. We are asked to open ourselves to new levels of consciousness. This is the degree when we start to recognize the energies behind what eventually manifests. We
use the imagination to manifest the energy and feeling.
The Moon at 5 degrees Pisces: A church bazaar. The value of making
even a commonplace interaction between people a spiritual or
transcendent event. We remember that the divine spirit is this energy
of Love.

The Full Moon in Pisces shows us the pure potential we all have if we
remember we are Spirit (Pisces) made Flesh (Virgo). Our powers of
awareness are held up to Virgo's capacity to discriminate what is and
what is not. The Divine speaks to us in 'the marketplace' as Lady
Wisdom. Do we have the awareness and capability to listen? And to
Understand? And then to act?
This Full Moon Eclipse opens our eyes so that we will examine what we
see, what we feel, what we fear and what we have been told to
determine its reality. We are responsible to learn what is real and to
act on only that which true. Then we can know what to do and we can do
it.
September 2: Saturn enters Virgo
Every two and a half years, Saturn enters a new sign. Saturn will
move into the sign of Virgo on September 2 until July 21, 2010.
Anyone with Virgo planets – as well as the whole Pluto in Virgo
generation - will now have the opportunity to undergo the same workout
as my Pluto in Leo generation just did. You are up for renewal! You
will be asked to clarify – are you in service or in servitude? For
everyone, Saturn in Virgo will help us work smarter rather than
harder.
In Virgo, the sign of work, health and service, it's time to conduct a
thorough analysis of all the important areas of your life and
relationships, including the one with yourself. Ask yourself what is
working and what clearly isn't. Are you running your schedule or is
your schedule running you? It's time to take yourself and your life
more seriously. If you know your chart, pay special attention to the
house where Saturn is transiting.
These next few years are the time to get our spiritual, mental,
emotional and physical health in balance. It's time to integrate all
the different parts of ourselves! And then bring that Whole Self into
service.
September 7: Pluto turns Direct
Pluto stations direct near the degree of the Galactic Center. This
energy of Evolution is raising our consciousness. So Be Aware!
September 8: Venus turns Direct (see below)
September 9 – 9/9/2007 = 9. A day of completion & endings.
September 11 – A New Moon Solar Eclipse–see next newsletter
The Big News of the past week is that Venus has been Renewed,
re-tracing her steps back through Leo so she could reconnect with the
Sun in their sacred marriage. That they meet in the Sign that
demands that we step into our royal nature is important. Venus, in
uniting with her lover the Sun, helps us listen to our Sun/SELF – the
inner spirit of life which knows who we are and want we are meant to
be. When Venus turns direct on September 8, if we have listened, we
will know what we need to do in this next part of our lives.
Where is 25 degrees of Leo in your chart? This is where Venus joined
the Sun. It is the same degree where Saturn stopped and turned
retrograde last October! (The image for 25 Leo is of
self-sufficiency in the face of a long and exhausting adventure. We
need total independence from our surroundings – like a camel who
crosses a vast, forbidding desert, and carries water within his own
body. "In order to be released from bondage in the 'old world' we
need to be completely self-contained emotionally; having absorbed the
mental food which this old culture has given us, we are ready to face
'the desert' – nothingness, Sunya . . .until we reach the 'new
world.'" Dane Rudhyar.
Venus is the energy that will help each of us manifest 'what dreams
may come' of the Saturn/Neptune opposition. She has gone back to
reclaim those dreams as Her own. She will bend all the powers of Her
mighty persuasion upon us to fulfill Her dream. She will ask her
Lover the Sun to carry that dream into consciousness so we manifest
it. So no matter what your personal dream is, Venus/Aphrodite tells
us that it's time we gave some love to each other and to the world.
Our dreams can only come through Her reality. Conscious,
compassionate, passionate, creative Love.
But first we have to listen to what we are dreaming and understand who
we are now. And so we go into the desert – we take a long hard look
at what we value and what we believe. Because when Venus goes direct,
that's what we're going to get. 'Create with intent from a place of
Divinity.'
As the Evening Star, Lady Venus is the Lady of the Night. Have you
been watching the planet Venus this Spring and early Summer in the
evening sky? The Star was so bright and beautiful. As the Evening
Star, Venus is the Courtesan, the Lady who brings Love into the
physical and emotional planes of consciousness. She can also bring
emotional turmoil, devaluation of an inflated market and (self?)
hatred.
In retrograding back to the Sun, Venus becomes the Morning Star, the
Star of Lady Wisdom. "I cry out in the marketplace, come to ME and I
will give you the Morning Star." She rises with the dawn next to
Regulus in Leo, the King Star. The Planet of the Queen of Heaven and
Earth, the Divine Feminine, has finished her stay in the underworld,
has suffered, experienced sacrifice and grief, and now comes back
wiser, shining with a new Light of Self-love and creativity. This is
the completion of Venus' 8 years cycle, which started in 1999. What
were the relationship issues, the values, the personal power and
freedom issues that you are resolving from that time?
Venus will call to us to reconnect with our spiritual vision,
especially as she has also connected with the Neptune – Saturn
opposition I've been speaking of this past year. Venus, the Goddess
who loves and also listens, is asking us to Listen within to our
deepest hopes and desires, not for ourselves, but for Life itself.
She wants to give us the wisdom to let go of what needs to die,
gestate what is new, and birth what is to be.
As I mentioned in the last newsletter
<http://www.wisdom-of-astrology.com/leonewmoon2007> Venus went
Retrograde on July 27th and will turn direct on September 8th.
Venus, or the Greek Aphrodite, Goddess of Love, Beauty, and an
awakened Psyche, metaphorically goes into the 'underworld' when she
goes retrograde. Like the Ancient Sumerian Goddess Inanna, and most
other Goddesses, Venus/Aphrodite is capable of her own Self-Renewal.
The planet Venus is conjunct the Sun (on a parallel to the Sun and
therefore lost in its light). Venus also conjuncts the
Saturn-in-Leo/Neptune-in-Aquarius opposition three times,
constellating the magical Goddess energy of 3's. Venus journeys back
and becomes the Woman Clothed with the Sun, the sign of redemption in
an otherwise dark apocalyptic vision. Aphrodite/Venus calls upon all
of us, especially women, to become Whole.
Blessed Be.
