New Moon in Aquarius – 29 degrees
Each New Moon is a chance for us to set new intentions. This New Moon in Aquarius is an excellent time to set intentions about our future – both our individual and collective futures. It continues the themes of the past 5 new moons – all of which occurred in the 29th degree of their signs. As I mentioned before, the 29th degree of a sign calls for the highest expression of that sign’s energy. Aquarius calls us to freedom, to our unique expression of our individuality, of our destiny within the group and for the group.
This year we are setting our intentions for change. Can you feel it? The last planet both the Sun and the Moon aspected before they came together this morning as the New Moon was Pluto. Pluto is still hovering near the Galactic Center, still receiving instructions for evolution and change on a cosmic level. And this New Moon is seeded by that deep energy, giving us an opportunity to realize that our soul’s destiny – the reason for this particular incarnation – goes beyond worldly success to a real responsibility to change the world as well as its definition of success. The world needs to be restructured on all levels.
The Sabian Symbol for 29 degrees of Aquarius is: METAMORPHOSIS COMPLETED, A BUTTERFLY SPREADS ITS WINGS: Immortality of the real Self. Graduation into a new realm of being. The capacity to utterly transform the character of one’s consciousness by radically altering the structural patterns of everyday living and the types of relationships one enters upon.
It all centers on our trust in Spirit and in our Self (not the ego) and how we express our beliefs in our lives.

In case you haven’t heard, Al Gore and friends are throwing a global party to kick our asses into taking Global Warming seriously. It’s set for July 7, 2007 and will take place on all 7 continents and can be accessed on radio, tv, internet and in person. Be there or be square!
Peace and blessings on this beautiful day.
